cGMP AAV Production
At Vigene, we are passionate about our mission to help support scientists advance their biomedical research and, ultimately, to make gene therapy affordable and accessible to those in need. As a leader in GMP AAV production, we have the experience and dedication to quality that you need to scale up your AAV gene therapy project into a patient-ready product.

We know that there is no single production strategy that works best for all GMP AAV projects, so we offer the flexibility of multiple AAV production methods and the expert knowledge to help you decide which process will best meet your individual needs.

Vigene has proprietary HEK293 and 293T producer cell lines for adherent or suspension culture, as well as an exclusive license for BAC-to-AAV technology from Virovek. We offer large-scale chromatography purification services (IEX, AEX, affinity, SEC, etc.) based on our clients’ preference, material needs, timeline, and long-term development plan.

Vigene has produced more than 20 batches of AAV for more than 4 serotypes. Some of the batches are in clinical trials right now in the EU and USA.
