제이씨바이오 는

기술력 있고 혁신적인 제품을 국내 바이오 연구자들에게 공급한다는 목표아래 2005년에 설립되었습니다. 2010년 이전 초창기에는 프랑스의 CISBIO사, 미국의 Next Advance사, 일본의 BEX사와 전략적 파트너쉽을 통해 제품을 한국에 독점적으로 공급함으로서 국내 연구자들의 연구에 도움을 드리고 성장할 수 있는 기반을 마련하였습니다.

2011년에는 중소벤처기업부(Ministry of SMEs and Startups)로부터 바이오 벤처기업 인증을 받았고, 2013년에는 연세의료원 내 에비슨의생명연구센타 (ABMRC)에 JCBio 연구소를 설립하여 바이오 연구개발 기업으로 본격적으로 발돋움하였습니다. 2013년에는 중소기업청 R&D 과제에 선정되어 우수 연구 기업으로 평가받으며 한단계 도약할 수 있는 발판을 마련하였습니다.

현재 진행하고 있는 “안구용 임플란트 개발 및 생산”은 GMP와 ISO 13485를 인증 받았으며, 2020-2022년 식품의약품안전처 임상시험을 진행하여 2023년에는 국내 및 세계 시장 판매를 계획하고 있습니다.

2018년에 NGS(Next Generation Sequencing) 분야에서 차세대 최고의 기술로 평가받고 있는 영국의 Oxford Nanopore Technologies사와 한국시장 Sales & Marketing에 대한 전략적 business partner로 선정되어, 국내 연구자들에게 Nanopore Sequencing 제품 및 기술을 공급하고 있습니다.
2025-2027년 코스닥 상장을 계획하고 있으며, 혁신적인 바이오 기술로 인류의 생명 연장과 세계 평화에 기여할 수 있게 되기를 간절히 바랍니다.

JCbio was founded in 2005 under the goal of supplying innovative bio products to Korean bio researchers. Early in 2010, JCbio laid the foundation of growth by exclusively supplying to Korean researchers those products through the strategic partnership with CISBIO(France), Next Advance(USA) and BEX(Japan). In 2011, JCbio was certified as a Bio Venture company by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and has grown into Bio R&D company in earnest by establishing JCbio Research Institute at ABMRC in Yonsei University Medical Center. In 2013, JCBio R&D project was selected by Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and had been evaluated as an excellent research company and had laid a foothold to take a leap forward. The ongoing R&D project, “Development and production of Ocular Implant” was certified by GMP and ISO 13485, and We are conducting clinical trial (2020-2023) in Korea and plan to sell domestic and global markets from 2023. In 2018, JCBio was selected as Strategy sales and marketing partner of Oxford Nanopore Technologies regarded as the most innovative NGS company in the world, and supplying Nanopore sequencing products and technologies to Korean researchers.
